Our Founder

Clarren Dzimwasha is a registered herbalist with formal training in health sciences and a lifelong calling to heal through tradition. Born in the lush, tea-growing region of Chipinge, she descends from a lineage of respected herbalists and spirit mediums whose knowledge continues to guide her work.

As the founder of Indigenous Treasure tea, Clarren blends modern wellness practices with Zimbabwe’s deep herbal heritage—reimagining ancestral remedies to serve today’s communities. She is not only a tea maker, but a cultural storyteller: preserving indigenous knowledge through ritual, flavour, and shared experience.

Her mission reaches beyond our tea blends, she empowers a growing network of women farmers, artisans, and cultural preservationists to honour the land, uplift their communities, and carry forward a legacy of healing.

Our Team.

At the heart of Indigenous Treasure tea is Nyeredzi Women Empowerment, a collective of Zimbabwean women cultivating wellness, culture, and community. From growing fresh indigenous herbs to blending, processing, and packaging, these women lead every step with care, wisdom, and intention.
